Romany is an old favourite of mine. A great spot that year in and year out serves good food. Traditional and comforting food. I'm a fan ,,,,

We are not often in Perth but when we are we always call in. A bit anxious this time as my wife is on a strict diet since a year but she wanted to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary at Romany. Well surely no regrets it was a long time since I have her seeing enjoying her meals from starter rill desert. No problems whatsoever, both staff and owner went out of their way to make this night special. All dishes (and drinks) were great as usual and we really had the best night since a long time. Huge thanks to all at Romany, we will be back again!

Nothing has changed in 30 years (carpet looks the same). A cafe with tablecloths and space between the tables - good acoustics. Efficient service, huge serves - order off the menu or just ask for what you want and they will make it for you. Wine is a little exe but ... always is! Enjoyable night not elaborate but wholesome.
